What makes QRI unique is our integration of mathematical rigor with systematic investigation of altered states. While others study consciousness through behavior or neural correlates alone, we're developing formal theories of how consciousness itself is structured, enabling research into the mathematical and physical foundations of experience through systematic first-person investigation.

Non-linear Optical Indra's Net Experiments
We are acquiring specialized hardware to validate the theory that the brain operates as a non-linear optical computer. By probing for specific optical artifacts like refraction, diffraction, polarization, and second-harmonic generation within the psychedelic experience, we aim to identify the physical signatures of consciousness.

We are leveraging Reservoir Computing to model the complex rhythms of the brain. This powers our Tactile Visualizer, translating internal sensations into visible patterns. This lays the foundation for Personalized Harmonic Retuning to "tune" bodily systems toward well-being.
